Great Lakes ATV

We at Great Lakes ATV are about promoting safe and responsible riding.

We are also a member in good standing with the

Mission Statement
To create, enhance and designate a trail network to give ATV riders a place to enjoy their recreation. By providing sanctioned trails, we can educate riders in respect to other trail users and the environment.

Our organization strives to promote safe and responsible recreational riding. We were formed on January 25, 2003 and have appointed a Board of Directors, elected our Executive, and some key committee members. Our By-Laws and Business Plan are now in place.

We at GLATV support the promotion of a healthy outdoor lifestyle. The number of ATV enthusiasts is growing at an incredible rate in Ontario and they are asking for trail systems. Being located in South Western Ontario brings along it's own challenges, seeing that Crown land is not in abundance. The club has to work very hard in signing land owners, clearing trails, hosting events and fundraisers. We have our trail insurance in place for the 2008 riding season. This is a very important aspect of running this club, without this we would not be able to move forward with a trail system. Since we are a not- for-profit organization, we count on our fundraising events, membership fees, and our valued corporate sponsors to help us achieve these goals.

The goal of the club is to have a place to ride that is legal, well marked and safe.
